Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13 in 1981) is an American actor. His career began playing roles in television shows such as Opposite Sexual Sex in the year 2000. Evans was a household name because of his performance as The Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the 2005 movie Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was also featured in films that are based off comic books, such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). As part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he gained more recognition for his role as Steve Rogers/Captain American. The films included Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014 as well as Captain America: Civil War. Also, he appeared in The Avengers Age of Ultron 2015. Avengers: Infinity War 2018 and Endgame 2019. He became one of the highest paid actors in the world due to his role in the Marvel franchise.
